This area is dedicated to Workforce development for Mansfield Swimming Club volunteers who support us with Coaching and Officals for gala’s.

Officials Training in the Home Countries -
It was reported that Scotland had agreed several amendments to the minimum requirements for training in Scotland. Following discussion all home nations agreed that applicants should be required to demonstrate several hours of post qualification experience at one level before moving to the next level. It was further agreed to recommend the following amendments to the requirements for training as British Swimming Officials.
- Timekeeper – minimum age 14yrs for training and assessment
- Judge level 1 -
minimum age for training 15yrs- final assessment minimum age 16yrs - Judge level 2 -
minimum age for training 16yrs - Judge level 2S -
upon completion of Judge level 2 with a minimum of 20 hours experience - Referee -
minimum age for training 19yrs providing will be 20yrs as at 30 th November in year of examination. Qualified as Judge level 2S for a minimum of 1 year with a minimum of 10 hours experience as a Judge level 2S.
