Solid Notts ASA Stage 3 at Water Meadows

Mansfield Swimming Club delivered a strong all round performance at Round 1 of the Notts ASA Stage 3 Gala, hosted at our home pool, Water Meadows, on 10 January 2026. In a competitive field of clubs, Mansfield finished in fourth place with a total of 144 points, only narrowly behind Leander B who placed third with 147 points. Sherwood B won the round with 170 points. These results are taken directly from the official results sheet.

Twelve Personal Bests Recorded

The team produced a total of twelve personal bests across the evening. This included nine individual PBs achieved across multiple strokes and age groups. Mansfield swimmers also delivered three relay PBs, reflecting excellent teamwork and strong changeovers. Well done to Zara, Liam, Evie, Harry, Evie-Mae, Max and Sope.

Individual Performances

Throughout the programme, Mansfield swimmers contributed valuable points in the 12 and under, 14 and under and open categories. Races in backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, freestyle and individual medley all produced competitive swims, including multiple top three finishes and several narrow margins of improvement.

Relay Performances

Relay squads also impressed, delivering three new relay personal bests in both medley and freestyle formats. These results demonstrate strong pacing, smooth transitions and confident race execution.

Final Standings

Sherwood B with 170 points.
CABSC with 163 points.
Leander B with 147 points.
Mansfield with 144 points.
Sutton with 108 points.

This opening round represents a strong start to our campaign. The combination of individual PBs, improved relay performances and the competitive fourth place finish shows promising progression across the squad.
