It is also worth noting that had there been an official dance competition on poolside we would certainly have had a number of medallists across our team!
Top Performer Rankings and Club Triumphs
The Robin Hood Open Meet also featured a fiercely contested Top Male and Female competition, where swimmers earned points based on their finishing positions across all events.
Mansfield shone brightly in this arena too. Harry dominated the Top Male rankings, medalling in all four strokes and the individual medley. Frank and Noah both secured spots in the top 10, showcasing their consistency and versatility across the full programme of events. Liam also landed in a strong 11th place finish.
Fox delivered a sensational performance, storming to second place overall, missing the top spot in Top Female by just a single position point! Fox also broke 7 long course club records which speaks volumes about her incredible talent. Isla also made her mark, claiming 20th place among a highly competitive field.
In the Top Visiting Club standings, Mansfield Swimming Club punched well above its weight, finishing 4th out of 20 clubs. This achievement is especially impressive given the smaller squad size compared to many of the other teams. It’s a clear reflection of the quality, spirit and determination that runs through every lane of our club.
