Matilda makes her mark!

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Matilda proudly represented Mansfield Swimming Club at the Swim England Midlands Para-Swimming Development Meet, held at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre in Rugby, UK.

Hosted by the Swim England East and West Midlands Regions, this meet is a key fixture in the para-swimming calendar. It provides a vital opportunity for para-swimmers across the Midlands to gain competitive experience, receive official classification (S1–S15), and progress along the Swim England Para-Swimming Pathway.

Matilda’s Performance

Matilda competed in two events—both over distances she had not previously raced—and delivered fantastic performances:

  • 100m Freestyle – New Personal Best ⏱

  • 100m Breaststroke – New Personal Best ⏱

These swims marked Matilda’s first official times in both events, and she approached each race with confidence and determination. Her results reflect the hard work she’s put in during training and her growing experience in competitive para-swimming.
