MSC Swimmers Spring into action
A number of our MSC swimmers have been in action across March and April, proudly representing the club at open meets around the country — and bringing home some fantastic results!
Georgia travelled to the City of Leeds National Qualifier, competing against a strong national field. She delivered excellent performances, finishing 18th in the 200m Freestyle and an impressive 9th in the 100m Breaststroke — a superb achievement at a high-level event.
At the Etwall Eagles Sprint Meet, Frank and Fox enjoyed incredible success. Frank stormed to 11 gold medals, claimed the title of Top 10-Year-Old Male, and achieved two new personal bests (PBs). Fox was equally impressive, securing 9 gold medals, being named Top 9-Year-Old Female, and setting five PBs across her events. Fox also lowered 4 of her own club records!
Evie competed at the Chesterfield Spring Meet, where she achieved a personal best in the 200m Freestyle, finishing strongly in 13th place — a fantastic effort and a sign of more to come.
Meanwhile, Riley showed his strength across multiple events at the Bakewell Open Meet, bringing home gold in the 50m Freestyle, silver in the 200m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle, bronze in the 100m Backstroke, and a solid 5th place in the 50m Backstroke.
Finally, Harry made the journey to the City of Hereford Sprint Meet, producing a brilliant set of swims to earn 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 2 fourth-place finishes, and a new personal best.
We are incredibly proud of all our swimmers for their hard work, determination, and fantastic performances over the past few months. A huge thank you also goes to our coaching team and supportive parents.
Keep up the great work — we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings!
