Solid start to National Arena League 2025 💙💛

MSC made a confident start to the 2025 National Arena League campaign, finishing fifth out of eight teams in a closely contested gala held in Rugby on Saturday 11 October. The team battled throughout and showed great promise across all age groups.

Although the club was unable to field any Male Open swimmers due to injury and availability our younger athletes stepped up with determination and delivered outstanding performances. There were some huge PBs delivered in the Overs age group as our swimmers secured their points despite swimming up. Well done to Riley, Isaac, Sope and Liam!

Our Under 11 swimmers all made huge contributions to our points tally too with that age group securing 80 out of a possible 96 available across their individual and relay events.

Across the gala, Mansfield swimmers achieved:

• 15 individual personal bests

• 13 relay personal bests

• 17 top 3 finishes

👏 Special shout out to our supporters and poolside team spirit The energy from the spectators was phenomenal and gave our swimmers a huge boost throughout the evening. Positioned in an outside lane, our athletes relied on each other for motivation and encouragement and they delivered. The volume and support on poolside was exceptional, with swimmers cheering each other on and lifting spirits at every turn. It made a real difference and was a proud reflection of the Mansfield team spirit.
