Mansfield Swim Club Shines with 86 Medals at Ernehale Open Meet

Mansfield Swim Club delivered a fantastic team performance at the Ernehale Open Meet, held at Harvey Hadden Sports Village on the 14th and 15th of March. The weekend was filled with energy, determination and an impressive number of personal bests. With 26 swimmers taking part in 101 swims, the club achieved an outstanding 64 PBs and several new and improved East Midlands long course regional qualification times.

The team brought home an incredible 86 medals, awarded to the top six in each age group:

  • 🥇 26 gold

  • 🥈 26 silver

  • 🥉 14 bronze

  • 11 fourth place

  • 6 fifth place

  • 3 sixth place

A special mention goes to Fox, who set three new club short course records: Girls 10 years 100 Free, 100 Breast and 200 IM.

The club also celebrated strong overall performances in the Top Girl competition, where Evie Mae finished an impressive 3rd overall, closely followed by Zara in 4th, both swimmers demonstrating exceptional consistency and determination across the weekend.

From first time competitors to experienced swimmers, every athlete contributed to a memorable and successful meet. The combination of personal bests, medal achievements and new club records made it a standout weekend for the club.
