Mansfield Swimmers Impress Across Two Open Meets

Mansfield Swim Club swimmers produced a series of fantastic performances across two Open Meets held on the 9-10th May.

Derby Excel Last Chance Qualifier 

At the first meet of the weekend, held on the 9th May at Moorways Sports Village, Georgia competed in the 200 back, earning third place in the 14 year age group and starting the weekend on a high for the club.

Buxton May Marvel open meet

The following day, three Mansfield swimmers travelled to Arc Leisure Matlock and continued the strong run of results.

• Chloe, competing in the 10 year age group, collected five medals, finishing second in the 200 free, 100 back and 200 back, and third in the 100 IM and 100 fly. She also achieved two personal bests.

• Lyra, swimming in the 12 year age group, secured second place in the 200 IM and swam two personal bests.

• Albert produced a strong set of performances, earning two personal bests from three swims.
